Got Ducked today
on a rural county road doing 55, I passed an oncoming car going in the opposite direction. As my grille passed the rear of his vehicle, a blur from my left from behind his car was replaced by a “clunk!” And an explosion of feathers. I pulled to the side and stopped. I got out and went to the front of my X7 to see a riot of feathers, my grille pupped out at the top and tilting forward, as well as a fricassed mallard. To say I was shocked, would be apt. I removed the duck and pushed the top of my grille back in and drove off.
Does the grille just “pop” in at the top or were there broken fasteners I missed? |

Yes, it does pop out. Must have been a hell of a hit to cause it to pop out..
