Yea - Fidelity definitely has comparable exclusion policy to Zurich/Axiom etc. It just priced significantly higher for me for the same coverage. 6 year 60k miles with no deductible for me was 8200 compared to 6800 for Axiom through my local dealer.

I have B&W too and that's a concern I had going with Axiom over Zurich but going to roll the dice somewhere and hope that i dont end up having 1400 in speaker repairs

I haven't heard of it.
But I just received a quote from my local BMW dealership in West Chester PA for the "manufacturer's extended warranty," and it's now $12.5k for 83/100k. Insane! Soon they'll be charging 50% of the car's MSRP for it.

So the BEST warranty you can buy is Easycare Totalcare, they cover everything and dont even send out an inspector for claims under $2000 and when they do send out an agent for a claim, they always pay out. I have it on two of my bmws and they paid out 60k+ combined. I mean they even covered steering wheels, buttons, and other small things that most warranties dont cover since its an exclusionary warranty. Its better than cpo.

The only downside now is the cost of it but if you pay for it, they will pay unlike other warranty companies

Also if you dont use it, they refund you lol
Its a win win

But now they charge a ton of money for it since they cover ev cars now. Before i paid $3500 for 8 years from in service but now easycare totalcare is expensive.

There are a lot of exclusions and items not covered from a quick glance

According to my service advisor, Axiom is a good warranty. Its not as good as easycare total but its definitely #2 in terms of coverage and payments.

Where did you buy your axion warranty? I cant seem to find a dealer who sells it. My easycare expired and they are asking like $3000+ a year now for it when i paid only $3500 for 8 years from in service date

I'm not sure if this is the same thing but the naming of the plans is the same as the Route 66 warranty plan that is offered through credit union, like penn fed. It's a much cheaper option but has a lot more exclusions. Seemed to be decent reviews as long as you know what you're getting into

I one of the BMW dealerships near me just happened to have it. I called 5-7 different dealerships though and that was the only one that offered it.

I've not really heard too much about easycare. can you buy that directly through the company or is that also only offered through dealerships? I think I got a quote on it from one of the dealerships I called and it was like 10k+ for similar time and mile coverage

Which bmw dealership?

You can buy easycare directly or from a dealership but its going to cheaper to get it from a dealership.

And yeah easycare totalcare is crazy expensive now, probably trying make up for the money they paid out 🤣 i mean they paid out over $60,000+ on my bmws and btw easycare totalcare covers tires and rims too so i got a ton of tire replacements. Hopefully the prices come down again

You can shop around across United States anywhere you find it lowest price is fair game. I do recommend shopping around.

Both our X7s have BMW extended warranty. Here is one of the POC I found had lowest price, but you can shop around to find lowest

(Note price may vary and you can negotiate. These were older numbers I had..)

Genuine BMW Extended Warranty (Platinum)
60 months/75k miles $3750
60 months/100k miles $4200
72 months/75k miles $4550
72 months/100k miles $5150
84 months/75k miles $5300
84 months/100k miles $6450

Usually with the non-BMW warranty, which i needed b/c I was already 4 years outside of my in-service date. BMW will only cover the car up to the 7th year from the in service date so if you have a 2020, that's only getting you another 3k of coverage and it's usually like 5-6k.

The ones I mentioned before were 6 years from the date you sign up. Also, with those, when you buy through a BMW dealership, they usually will waive the 100 deductible if you bring it to the dealership that you bought it from. Otherwise, have to pay 100.

I got the Axiom one at Circle BMW in Eatontown NJ

She quoted me the same price you got for my 2023 G80 M3

But for my X4M last april she quoted me $700 higher on the 60/75k

For my CPO X7m50 the numbers for unlimited miles $0 deductible look much better

It is obviously vehicle dependent. Repair costs for a "real" M are probably markedly higher.
