Is your sunroof cover made of fabric or Alcântara?

Congratulations on the new toy and wishing you many pleasurable miles.
Looks really cool and great spec!
However I have to correct you on your comment about the M60i being a true M Power vehicle. My understanding is that this engine has been tuned higher than the M50i giving slightly more HP but it is not a full M car spec. If you want a M Power X7 then the highly anticipated new XM will be built to BMWs M power specification, as you get in the M3's, M5's etc. Alternatively, an equivalent will, be the XB7 Alpina.
Love your car though!
Enjoy.

This is not fully M spec car, but the engine is from M cars and was in fact detuned to match M50i specs. There is more potential (safer tune possible) in M60i than M50i engine.

Same question. It's not even an option on the BMW website anymore.
I'm out here in Texas if that matters at all.

Any update on this? I'm about to trade my loaded 21' M50i for an equivalent 24' M60i and want the Frozen MBB. The configurator has the frozen Grey, but not the blue. That frozen blue is incredible!

I wouldn’t even go that far as the M60i has electric helper motor in the transmission that doesn’t actually bring anything to the performance party and actually makes it a much harder barrier to tune around. BMW thought the mild hybrid was a way to improve mpg as its sole priority.

It was never in the configurator. It's an individual color. Your dealer will have more info on how to order it in that color.

Here's a site you can use to play around with the different choices.

https://individual.bmw-m.com/G07-21EM-P5T

Although, I don't think the site does a great job of representing the colors accurately....

individual manufaktur is the program. paint is 5K or thereabouts.

with the maintenance pain of the factory frozen paint i would probably get the car in regular marina bay blue and stealth ppf it. roughly the same cost give or take a k and you get the bonus of ppf plus easier upkeep. the look will be very similar. and not having to wait for months to have the individual manufaktur get approved and then scheduled.

this is a MBB X5M with stealth ppf

factory frozen paint is a maintenance nightmare. any damage you're looking at a major repaint to keep it matching. scratches cannot be buffed out. wash it the wrong way and you'll be visiting the body shop vs a detailer to fix it. etc etc etc

What is the point of getting frozen paint and wrapping it in PPF? Frozen paint has got coarse clear coat finish. So if you wrap it in PPF, it won't be frozen anymore. If you use stealth ppf, what's the point of paying for a frozen paint? You can have any paint prozen with a stealth ppf.

I think you missed what I was saying. Get the car in gloss MBB then have stealth ppf applied. Very similar end result. It's pointless to get frozen then ppf.
MBB (gloss) is a no cost option and stealth ppf will cost 6-7k vs frozen MBB at 5k and a much longer wait.
