checking in.....went to St. Pete Beach. It's on the Gulf of Mexico side. Damn warm water. These roads have to be the best I have ever driven on. Rental car is a PT crap Cruiser. Time to hit the hot tub.....

I did the alpine loop yesterday with an MDX load of passengers. That's a crazy road. Lots of traffic, blind corners, narrow roads. Fun, but can't believe anyone should take it at more than 25mph.

That is a fun drive - although you're right about slowing down. That was the deciding factor in going to East Canyon instead a couple of weeks ago. I wanted some good switchbacks to play with.
