Approximate transit time to the West coast

My Car has just finished production and will be delivered to Carrier tomorrow.
Can some one from the West tell me the approximate time for the car to reach dealership based on your experience? I am from Northern CA

Mine went to "Dispatched from Factory" on May 21, 2020, and arrive at dealer in Central Coast CA on June 12, 2020. So took roughly 3 weeks

Was there something else that took time in between? 3 weeks seems like a really long time to be on a train or truck.

It took 5 weeks for me. 1 week to reach Kansas, 2 weeks to reach Renton WA and 2 weeks of delay in between Kansas and Renton. Also I live 10 miles from Renton processing center. So there was no delay there. But if I was somewhere else in WA, it would’ve taken another week for truck transit easily

According to the dealer and BMWUSA, the car spent nearly a week at the VPC just outside the factory before being loaded on a truck/train. It spent about 2 weeks on various truck/trains before it arrived at the dealer.

Wow. That's insane. I will be picking up from BMW Seattle so hopefully that won't be other week.

How long ago was this? I certainly hope it has gotten better recently.

Production Completed: 03/17
Left Factory: 03/22
Expected arrival at Renton, WA: 04/06

BMW logistics are all over the place this past year. Mine was shipped from the factory to Kansas City by Rail, then sat in Kansas City for a few days before it got moved to another train from Kansas City to Richmond CA.
I was expecting it to go from factory to Oxnard CA VPC by rail, but it went through VPC at the factory then got loaded onto the trains.
Once it reached Richmond CA by rail, it sat there for another 8 days before getting loaded onto a truck.
Richmond is only about 2 hours from me. Took the truck nearly 24 hours to get from Richmond CA to my dealer.

The last few weeks are the worst.

When we ordered my wife's X3 a few years ago, the car left the factory, went on a train directly to Oxnard CA VPC, spent a day at the VPC before it was loaded on a truck and arrived at the same dealer the same day. And Oxnard is nearly 6 hours away.
