Picking mine up tomorrow night!! Ordered April 16th. It has felt like forever but can't wait until tomorrow!

Did anyone get the exterior and interior coating from BMW? Curious if its worth getting?

I (probably) foolishly gave in and got it on Tuesday when with the finance manager, but have 3 small kids and one spilled something in my trade on the way to the dealer. I’m sure I could have it done much cheaper than they charged, but they pick the car up and give me a loaner so the convenience counts for something I guess...

Do you know what brand they use? I think he told me 3M. Did you do exterior and interior?

I'll say. Ordered April 6th still Scheduled for Production with no confirmed start date.

May 18: Enter Production Queue
May 20: Jumped to Entering Assembly Line
May 21: Quality Check

May 24: Awaiting Carrier Assignment

May 30: At the dealership!

I'm on vacation until next week so a sweet surprise waiting for me upon return.

I can’t remember but that sounds about right. I did do the interior and exterior, it only came as a combo package.

Well, ordered on April 19th, entered quality check 3 days ago. Sill waiting. There seems to be no pattern on how long we need to wait on "quality check".

Don't get too hung up on what the online tracking says.
I drove my X7 home from the dealer while it was still in quality check

Placed dealer order on May 18th.. Went into production queue on May 20. On June 3rd it was "dispatched from Factory" I'm told it should arrive at the dealership within the next day or so.. we'll see how long from dispatched to dealer receiving it.

Update: June 10th, dispatched from factory. Dealer shows EAT is tomorrow. So hyped!!!

I am in UK, ordered one in Jan and it just entered production on 6th June. it is M50D. Anyone else here from UK who ordered X7?

Not much help
Anyone else waited this long in quality check

Mine was in Quality check for three weeks or so before it jumped ahead a couple steps.
Hang in there!
It took about 10 weeks from placing order for mine to finally arrive at the dealer.
And just like in your case ....at one point nobody seemed to know what was happening after being in quality check for so long.

Now that we're into August, the last remaining MY2019 models should be done and preparing for delivery, and production started on MY2020 X7's.

FWIW, BMWUSA configurator still shows MY2019 as of today.
