Question about disabling traction control

Hi Quick question, when I fully disable traction control by holding it down for a long time I notice it does warn me that traction control is fully disabled however I notice the car goes from Sport+ back to normal?

if i switch it back to sport+ the semi traction control comes on again?

is it not possible to be in sport+ and have traction control off at the same time? to me that seems counter productive...

Correct. I think its a "safety feature" as a touchy throttle with 0 traction is dangerous. But I'm not 100% sure.

Yeah, another reason a flash is crucial. DTC off and Sport mode combination is needed for track use.

It doesn't really go back to "normal mode" what it basically does, if you have adaptive suspension like I do, is the car goes into comfort throttle, so the drive can modulate the throttle more smoothly and the suspension goes into sport plus and the traction and stability control are completely off. The steering ration is also put into the heavier setting for smoother operation and more road feedback.

On the F30 DTC/DSC Off is considered a separate driving mode like Comfort, Sport, etc. On the new F48 X1 though, you can set the DTC/DSC Off settings independently of the driving modes.

Ahh ok this makes sense now I did notice the heavier steering as well

Its another driving mode... normal throttle is better for drifting since its easier to modulate... but you can pull the auto lever to the left and have sport throttle...
