I can’t seem to find Angel Eyes brightness in the app. Does this require expert? If so can anyone advise?

I got the module OBDLink MX+ a few days ago, paid for the full Bimmercode version($31), and coded the following:
one-touch turn signal
Bowers&Wilkins sound
tire temperature
fog lights on with high beam

What exactly do you mean by you coded Bowers & Wilkins sound? You didn't have that package and some how you manage to code in speakers and amps from the B&W package?

The B&W coding adds some B&W specific equalizer setting options that are not available with HK or the base HiFi. I coded this as well and it is some nice added audio functionality if you have HK. Not sure how effective it is with base HiFi though as the hardware is different (specifically the amp as the B&W and HK amps are closer with their specs when compared to the less capable HiFi amp).

I ordered the HK sound system and the coding gave extra equalizing options.

If you are referring to the exhaust flap, no BimmerCode can not code that open. But the sister app, BimmerLink, can control the exhaust flap.

Hey all, I coded sport plus, visual for assistant pro and BW audio controls and now my air conditioning isn’t working. Any thoughts? I reverts all ecu setups to backups but no dice

Any way to flash the entire set back to original?

While not that common, sometimes after coding some features, the car needs to "sleep" for a while before some features return back to normal. When the car goes to sleep, like being parked overnight, many modules in the car do a soft reset. If that does not work, then restoring a backup with BimmerCode is the next best thing to restore your previous coding set points, which will be the factory ones if you did not have any previous coding in the affected modules. BimmerCode does not have the option to "restore" the entire car back to factory specs, you need to restore each module individually using the backup feature. After that either an experienced paid coder or a factory software update can restore factory coding to the car.

So just be a bit patient for now as the probability of you permanently breaking (or "bricking") any of the modules in your car using BimmerCode, even when using Expert Mode, is very low. Most of the time the car will fix itself provided you did not inadvertently code any "wrong" parameters in Expert mode.

Well I was hoping that would do the trick but no dice in the morning. When I look at resetting the climate ecu to backup (which I didn’t change) it says I need to recalibrate until the led stops blinking after it finished. However the led just blinks to the end of coding then stops. Any ideas on how to force climate calibration on the X7?

Unfortunately, I have never seen nor heard of that error before. If you have not done so already, I recommend you reach out to the BimmerCode developer for assistance.

Ha drove around for about 15 min under 1500 rpm as BimmerCode said and it came back. Well I’ll leave this issue here for posterity so someone else can learn from it. Thanks for the advice.

The pedal profile between c+ and eco does seem a bit different. c+ still lets you get on it where eco throws a big wet blanket on the throttle.

I'm curious what extra on the suspension programming side the xb7 does. This definitely loosens up the car to make it more compliant, but suspension feels a bit like eco--softer, a bit less laterally stiff than comfort. You don't get rocked as much as you turn through dips, for instance.

I'd love to get the xb7's height adjustment params
I'm thinking this answers the question I have but not sure...Does programming in Comfort + enable me to adjust the steering and suspension settings individually in Comfort? I want to keep it all the same but tighten the steering feel in Comfort.

I may not be understanding an important detail here--this means Comfort+ can be coded for non-XB7 models?

this wouldn't enable that. I think closer to the desired state would be something like eco personal or sport personal where you can configure the desired level of violence per aspect

Dangit! What does Comfort + do for me? Add some marshmallow fluff to the overall feel?

suspension you can chew!

everything is just a little softer, wobbly-er, and throttle response is what eco pro's throttle response would be if it didn't suck. It's limo smooth without being limiting
