Exterior carpet lighting....

I only seem to have the external carpet/welcome lights on the passenger side of the car, not the drivers side.
I this normal??
If not, is there a setting somewhere where I can enable carpet lighting on both sides of the vehicle??

Try cleaning off the light on the driver's side and see if it's covered with mud or something. The light could also be burned out or loosened where it won't shine backwards.

They work in tandem, not independently, so no setting for one or their other.

Good luck

Ignore - now fixed! lol

Ever since purchasing the car about 7 months ago I thought the welcome carpet light was just passenger side. I just never had the driver side at all.

Just checked and had some dirt blocking the light on the driver side. How it got in there I do not know, but must have been in there ever since I picked dup the car!

Cleaned it out a little and I have lights back on both sides now! lol
