Studded snow tires for X7 40i

Is there studded snow tires approved and available for BMW X7?

I have 2019 X7 40i. Tire size is: 285/45/R21

I found snow tires BLIZZAK (LM001), but not studed.

Thanks for any help I can get.

Try Nokian Hakka 9. I believe they offer them in our size.

Good question, and I'm interested to know what you find, especially being from Alaska. I bought a studded wheel and tire set from BMW for my 2004 330i when I moved to Alaska 12 years ago, and it's worked great for me. All the BMW winter wheel sets I've seen have been with non-studded, so far. So, interested in what you find.

Greetings from the Nordics! I have had already for a few weeks Nokia Hakkapeliitta 9 studded tyres (in R20) installed, and have been happy with them apart from the noise level that is higher than my previous studded tyres. This could also be because the tyres are still new, and thus the studs have not yet fully embedded in.

They are available also on 285/45 R21, you can check on

Excellent, thanks! That is indeed a size that'll fit X7 wheels, so it's good to know there's a designed studded tire out there that'll work as well!

Thank you. That Size should work for my X7 the only thing I see is it is not a run-flat I did find snow tires with run-flat but they are not studed. My car did not come with spare tire.
