Active PDC with Braking Intervention
I have a 2019 X7 40i. I just got the software updated to 11/2019.55
I tought the Active PDC with Braking would be updated in this latest software update. The 2020 X5 loaner that I got during that period had the Active PDC with Braking for the Backing and Side Protection. My car has Pro Parking Package and Pro Driving Assistance packages. It has more than what the 2020 X5 Loaner had in term of Hardware readiness. What is BMW thinking? They have completely parted the 2019 users as if its a primitive version. Can't believe it! Well, going back to BimmerCode Help!, has anyone been able to get the Active PDC with Braking working using the BimmerCode? Does it support it? I saw an email today from BimmerCode TestFlight (beta version) supporting BDC coding (3 Series G20, X5 G05). Will that support it? Last edited by FreddyBMW; 02-26-2020 at 02:25 PM.. |

I'm running the July version with a 2020 X7 and I have Active PDC with Braking... I did have to enable some things in iDrive to make it happen (cross traffic alerts and such), but it's fine.

Answered this in the G05 forum, but should work the same on X7.
I suspect this is the code, and I don't know if Bimmercode supports that ECU. Unlikely as it's safety related, so you will need esysx. This feature works fine on my car so this is untested and may not work. "ACSM_5[1B2D]\a_pdc_fp aktiv code suggests this is not enabled for US type G05/(G07?) cars UNLESS they have a build version (not i-step) of >= 1907" |
