Yeah i think the likelihood of getting 20k miles out of any tires 21" or greater on this vehicle is basically zero. Just my 0.02

I thought I saw some X5 guys reporting 30-40k on the hot (popular) Conti tire those guys like. Why should the x7 be so much worse?

I have 20" on most of my cars including my heavy 2500HD Silverado that sees well north of 20K - over 30k actually.

i haven't had that kind of luck on ultra high performance all seasons in sizes 21" and greater (let alone dedicated summers), but also a reflection of how hard i've used them i suppose. Even the Conti DWS 06 in size 21" haven't lasted me that long (20k) and that has been the longest lasting for me.

x7 weighs 5500 and 5800 lbs depending on trim. that's a lot more weight being thrown around than the x5.

Fwiw took my 22” Pirelli P Zero run flats off yest for winter swap. They have 4/32 of tread after about 10k miles (started 8/32 new). They are about what I expected as far as tread life. Probably replace them in the spring

I have almost 13k on the performance runflats. Feels like there plenty of tread left. No official measurement. Maybe I just drive like a [insert word of your choice]
