I bought the X7 M50i in tanzanite blue. Just waiting for it to be in production. I think the special color makes people turn their heads while driving down the road. I had a 2011 M3 Jerez Black which had a dark purple in the sunlight and of course black at night but it was something amazing and different from the status quo!

I agree, A special color can make the car. I had an individual Grigio telesto f80 and the color was amazing. Made the car feel land look so unique. even though it was a shade of grey it really stood out. I got more looks in that car than I do in my GT3 lol. It would be cool if they offered the x7 in the full range of individual colors.

what color interior did you spec?

FWIW, here's the new US configurator for MY2020. X7 M50i with Extended Shadowline Trim.

Top picture is Phytonic Blue, bottom picture is Tanzanite Blue II.

Of course, the configurator is not going to do either color true justice of what it really looks like in real life. But damn... that Tanzanite sure is sharp.

Just build a fully loaded one around 120k but the wheel option is really disappointing. Leaning towards the 21 in one with all season but really like the 22 in look. Really appreciate any inputs!

I have a Tanzanite over Ivory Extended Merino at the port, should be here by Saturday. I'll definitely get some pics up.

FWIW, here's a 2020 40i on Autotrader in Tanzanite Blue II. Lots of pictures. But the indoor pics don't seem to do the color justice, it looks deep, muted, and even purplish in these pics.

aaa335 - love your new X7.

And what is that material on your garage floor. Looks like marble. Beautiful and befitting your new X7.

That’s epoxy more than likely but looks really nice. I’ve considered it on mine too, but worry it’s slippery when wet

Thanks! Gatordent is correct, the floor is a multi-layer epoxy. I have had it about 7 months and seems to be holding up well. As you can imagine it takes some upkeep. I vacuum it up every few days. It is a little sticky and has some give so pretty comfortable to walk on bare foot. I like to detail my cars in the garage so it is good for me.

It would not be a good choice for a working garage. It is EXTREMELY slick when wet!

Thanks. I've seen floors with an almost gritty top layer that look pretty good but your floor looks awesome.
