Remote start issues

Does anyone has issues with remote start over the phone and remote 3D view?

Mine was problematic now does not work at all

Remote start works for me (but can take some time), unlike remote 3D view, which literally never, not once, worked...

Be sure for remote view that you 1) have the same user added to the car as you are using on the app and 2) that you then go into the Data privacy option on the idrive (car settings > general settings) and tuck the box to enable remote view.

It will be disabled by default (on the car). And if you don’t have the same email address (user) on both the car and app - it won’t work.

This is interesting. I never knew this and it might be why I could not get Connected for my wife, the 2nd driver working. I will take a look.

I have both 1 and 2 correct and still problems

Update

My wife's key was also coded correctly.

I brought the car to the dealer and now they keep it 2 days and extended till Monday apparently there is something wrong with my iDrive. At leas now dealer admits there is something wrong
