can you close the tailgate with remote?

I read through the manual and doesn't see any mentioning of this. Looked at Bimmercode but there's nothing that can be changed about the tailgate.

I am checking with the guy that coded my previous cars and will confirm. In my last three cars, he was able to code it so you can do it.

Bimmer code shows this to be unavailable. I hope they add it

I used Bimmercode to do it on my wife's 2016 X5 and it works like a charm. On my X7, no dice.

Yes you can close it from inside the cabin. Suggest looking into the manual on how to do so.

Just hold the trunk open/close button on the driver side door

try using the foot feature under the bumper. I dunno if it closes since we have the hitch.
