No lighting color control on B&W speakers?

I can control the color on the B&W speakers to match the rest of the ambient lighting on my X5M. The new X7 doesn't seem to allow that - only white seems to be available. Is this true or have I just not figured out iDrive 8 yet?

Its there. You can match the B&W to the rest of the ambient lighting.

You can do it in LCI X7. Go to interaction light option and turn off Speaker option.

I would have shown you the exact steps but my car is out for Ceramic coating.

I figured it out. Not the most intuitive thing I've ran into.

Go to:
Interior lighting
Ambiance
Lighting Events (weird)

Then deselect/turn off Speakers (turning on sets the speakers to emit white light instead of matching the ambient light color/turning off will match speaker lighting to ambient light color)
