The antidazzle is the feature where when the HB are on, they will shine around a vehicle coming up on you, and not on. Basically it allows you can drive with your HB on w/o blinding an oncoming motorist.

UK

It's decoded off as this feature is not allowed in the US but is allowed in other countries, for example Europe. In the US, the HB will turn off/on to not blind an oncoming motorist.

US

But coders have been able to enable this feature on in the US for G01/2s and G05s:

Yes, if you live in urban area it will never really go off, suburbs and rural areas it's absolutely amazing. Just needs to be coded back in. Lately the only coding I want is this feature, both on wife's x5 (soon to be x7)and my m5. Just can't drive without it at night anymore.

I have coded plenty of them.
When my customers or I get a new car, it is on our priority list to code.
Even though I live in a city where it doesn't get used much, it is very useful when I go out to city outskirt or out of town.

Can you recommend someone in the Chicago area to do this and a few other things? Please

I've been following the thread and have a question for you. In addition to coding anti-dazzle for US spec X7's, have you found a way to code/activate the ECE brightness/range setting?

As far as the standard LED light, I am not so sure what are the range difference between Euro and US spec.
If there is anything, most likely it is hardware limited.

As far as Laser one, I believe the range is also hardware limited.
I can't say for sure since I don't have a car with laser light.

Yes, it's decoded (disabled), so you need to "code" it back on.

Looks like the 40i doesn't have laser?

Here's mine. Checked off every box.

Not that I'm trying to push my son into being a car guy, but I decided to let him pick my next car. He just turned 11.

We looked at the Aviator, the GLS, and the X7. Test drove all three. He thought the Aviator looked cheap on the inside and the GLS looked cheap on the outside.

He loved the X7. Then he asked if he could pick the color. I don't care, because I am on the inside and don't really look at the color, so I said go ahead.

He picked Amatrine it's kind of like red or purple. Of course he wanted the other stuff blacked out.

So here it is:

Ok, just a little confused again.

I was told I'd be getting laser lights. Just found out the 40i does not come with laser lights. But on my build it has decode dazzle lights.

So can you get the features of the dazzling lights without laser?

Short and simple
Yes

But

It have to be re-coded back again.
I'm learning that as well. Seems laser is more for range and brightness, which is different Than the anti dazzling functionality.

Yeah Laser, looks like only available on the m50i . The anti-Dazzle works with the adaptive LED. Get it coded back on ASAP, it's amazing!!!
