Hi X7 fans,

just acquired my M50d 6/2019 spec. Was wondering if anyone had installed a Tuning chip of any sort and found the expense a worthwhile choice. I was considering the RACECHIP GTS Black, they say it gives 41HP gain.

I bought one for my M50i, haven't installed it yet but have high hopes. If you do decide to get one, make sure you ping Ben (username: r33_RGSport) instead of going directly to RaceChip. He's been very helpful to quite a few of us on the forum, and you won't get anything close to that going direct...

Others have reported good experiences with Racechip, mine was not good at all. First one received was inoperable, replacement threw on the check engine light and a bunch of engine trouble codes, and I ultimately tried to return it and was denied. Unfortunate. Check out the other thread in this forum, and Ben at RGSport is an awesome resource on this stuff, recommend you reach out to him.
