Question to those in the know. My dealer is telling me that in order to keep the fiance and loyalty credits, I must keep the BMWFS loan active for a minimum of 4 months?
That doesn't sound right. My guess is dealer only gets credit if the loan stays active for 4 months. If I pay off the loan before 4 months, dealer won't get credit but I also won't be charged by BMWFS for the $2500 & $1000 finance & loyalty incentives?

I think you are correct. When I bought last year I kept the loan for four months to be a good sport, but I don't think the dealer or BMWFS had any way of rescinding my credits once they had been applied to the purchase price.

Thanks that's what I thought. Once everything is on the purchase agreement I don't think they can go back and change it after it's signed.

i think the dealer loses credit for the financing if you re-fi within 4 months

Shameless plug here since I used this thread to help negotiate my deal back in January, just posted my 2020 M50i up for sale/transfer in the classified section in case anyone is looking for this spec and wants to save some money.

X7 New Order

Hi Friends,

I am in the market to buy an X7 40i with MSRP $93000. Can anyone please suggest how much should I negotiate? I am in NJ but willing to buy from any dealer nationwide. If you have any good dealer you know who is giving good discounts, please let me know. Appreciate your help.

Thanks.

I'm curious, if you do order, what you get told for discounts off an ordered vehicle vs in-stock, and what kind of production delays you encounter.

At this time I would aim at 15% solid

I have not found a single dealer (over 30 dealers in 9 states) that is
Willing to give a 15 percent discount pre rebate on a 2020 (in my case with base MF on a lease).
I am looking for a lower spec new car to qualify for cca rebate.
Im very flexible with color and options.

Absolutely no one is willing to go that low and
I said I'll sign immediately if they can give me that .
Perhaps they can't in this environment with supply and focusing on gross
Profit instead of volume.

I got a 2019 to 15 percent off but that was it. I expected more off a 19 with lease support ending soon.

If anyone knows of a dealer looking to do a deal at those numbers
I'm all ears!

Wait till end of the month , also lot of dealers holding onto their cars hoping for pent up demand. If the demand does not increase over the next couple of months they will be willing to deal more. Also if a state re-enters lockdown they will panic sell their cars since they don't want to be caught with their inventory in this crisis. Currently they want to maximize given people are coming out of the shelter in home.

I'm in the same boat, pre-shelter in place I was being offered on a vehicle on the lot 12% off plus incentives or 10% plus incentives and lowest MF on both options. Now the max discount they are offering is 10% and MF of 0.00158 on a vehicle on the lot and there is no more allocation for special orders.

It totally seems that now as shelter in place is being lifted they expect demand to surge. I would recommend, if you can, to wait one to two months until they realize this won't happen, then they will be giving great deals.

Wife got her 2020 X7 Saturday. $89k sticker. $76k + tt&l (including tint and the 3 rows of rubber floor mats). Pretty much fully loaded M Sport. Felt like the deal was fair.

Did the 5 year 0.9% financing.

That's a good deal, was it a custom order or one off their lot?

Off the lot. It was the right color, and it checked all the boxes: M Sport, 2nd row captain chairs (seemed like a lot of M Sports didn't have this), Front ventilated seats, Extended shadowline trim, Premium, Drivers assistance pro, Cold weather.

May incentives?

Hi Everyone, can someone provide me if this is correct for May for purchasing a new 2020 BMW X7 for May incentives:

$2,500 Financing Credit
$1,000 Loyalty

I don't have college graduate and military - BTW - For all the great men and women from our military - Thank you for your service!!!

Any help would be greatly appreciated, I'm looking into 2020 x7 4.0 for my wife. I'm hoping to get around 11% off MSRP prior to the incentives. Thank you!

Pay for additional maintenance?

Hi, I'm about to lease an X7 40i and negotiating with the dealer. Is it worth the hassle to negotiate the need to include additional maintenance? I plan to lease and turn it in after 3 years. Will the included maintenance be sufficient? If so what else should I negotiate other than price : )

The only thing not included in the basic 3 year maintenance that you might need is tires and brake pads/rotors.

I don't think they offer any plans that includes tires, but they do have a plan that includes brake pads/rotors.
