i was looking at e60 m5's as well before getting the e92. but all the smg problems scared me abit. now i'm watching the '08-'09 prices to see where they fall, especially when the new m5's are released. i drove an smg m5, but honestly didn't like how it drove around the city (in auto mode, i was also manually shifting but wasn't quit used to it yet), open highways are a BLAST however. once that v10 starts cooking, hold on!

you should go to e60.net or m5board, all the info you need is there
