Curious- knowing now that it’s normal and by design- would you get the same trim again or recommend it to others? Also- has it altered more over time?

I actually don’t have this particular X7 anymore. One day at the dealer I accidentally drove the X7 M60i, and well, you know the rest. 😂

On my M60i, I ended up ordering the Individiual Ash Grain Grey Trim, which is the glossy version of this, but it’s all the lighter color with no darker contrast, which is what I wanted. When I ordered my ‘23, the trim pictured was brand new and there weren’t any pictures available. Since its coloration is intentional and by design, I doubt it’ll change much over time. I love how it’s matte, though.

Not much of one at all. My 40i was one of the early and rare ones that had dynamic handling before they cut the option. The Dealer had a buyer in mind who took it immediately.

Moral of the story was God wanted me to have the V8! 😂
