in the video it is not as spectacular as when you are in the car

It is "normal" for LCI.

Unfortunately, I've seen this in all LCI as well, not just the X7. Not sure how we've come to this point, BMW headlights were always fairly decent before this.

So sad! they stupidly also removed the adaptive headlight turning feature

Apparently BMW wants their customers to feel like they have cataracts when driving at night. Absolutely pathetic compromise in function for a questionable superficial design element. How can anyone justify that beam performance casting a shadow right where you need the light the most??
As a BMW owner and fan I am going to say the following critique with love and objectiveness : “The headlight performance isn’t something to get use to but rather the new 7 series headlights suck and there is no amount of “welcome lights” gonna make the elephant in the room disappear.”
