This car is crying out for Imola Red, although Ferrari looks pretty great too. Shame on you BMW for not offering classic ///M colors without an upcharge. Makes no sense why BMW color people (whoever the F they are) refuse to offer a red color without the upcharge. Estoril, San Marino, or Interlagos would look awesome also imo.

The hips (fender flares) on the Frozen Black looks surprisingly aggressive. Maybe that color just brings it out? On the one pic with the Java Green in the background sowing the side, the car looks weak. I really need to see this thing in person.

Im not that old but as far as i remeber, never. Which is exactly the point. I dont understand that, with the new model the design language is almost identical, why not just flare the rear fenders?

From the rear quarter shot of that Frozen Black M5 in this thread they look pretty flared to me.

The point of the M5 has always been a subtle aggressive executive sleeper. The M3 has always been the more aggressive looking car. I would think it’s because the demographic of an M5 buyer is older, more mature, and isn’t looking for an overly flamboyant aggressive car, but something with more class and understated aggressiveness.

I saw a M3 yesterday that was Frozen Black... the color made it look really special and it really stood out. I imagine the M5 in Frozen Black will look breathtaking in person. This color has made me truly excited about the M5. To get a vehicle that is over 100k I want something that feels special and unique every time I walk up to get in. I want to be thinking.. wow, this car is amazing, it’s worth every penny. For me this color makes the M5 that.

Love the frozen black as well.

For those of you who have wrapped a car and had a factory matte finish, which do you prefer? I had a matte finish on an AMG and it was easy to maintain. Never had a BMW matte finish though.

Wraps are a tad cheaper and can be removed leaving a factory paint unblemished.

Thoughts?
