I thought about placing them in the X5 locations but my OCD would drive me nuts trying to place them in the correct spots. Masking the current emblems off was just safer for my sanity.

So is this the exact same finish as the Shadowline black chrome?

Not sure about his but I ordered these painted OEM badges in gloss black from IND. Not sure I'll add them but there will be no other cerium on the car so thought black badges might work best. Should be here later this week.

They’re gloss black. Same as window trim and grille.

Hi Byeil, does your Ash Grain Bronze Matte Wood Trim have a slight "Bronze" - metallic vein running through it? Do you have any more pictures of it? Looking to pair it with Tartufo leather - unsure if it will work.

You may see a shimmer of bronze if the light hits it right but most of the time you’ll see matte black.

About a week from order to delivery.

Part numbers

51142472843 X7
Awesome. I had no idea BMW offered these as an OEM part already painted in black. Were they offered as an option on X7s in previous model years?

Also, those part numbers can be had cheaper from various U.S. BMW vendors (i.e. MyBimmerParts for $104 with free shipping).

As far as I know they’ve never been offered on a model and they’re manufactured in black to match shadowline trim.

When I ordered they were not yet available in the US so I had to order from the overseas company I had listed. Small price to pay for the early adopter.

That all said, I went with captains chairs. Because Tartufo.

LOL. For me, I'm going with captain's chairs, because it's all about my 2 kids in the back. No need for 3rd row. No need for center seat. Want the kids comfy in their captain's chairs, nice separation between the two.

Same for me. Necessary for family mental health to avoid 2 kids sharing the same armrest and the arguments that would invariably ensues. Would have ruined the pleasure of driving this amazing vehicle, recognizing all of the benefits of the bench.

10mm in additional width shouldn't be issue... its really only 5mm on each side of center.

Update on Nitto's: They perform well in the rain but they're definitely louder then the stock Continentals and I havent even taken them on the highway yet. Hope they quiet down over time.

Glad you caught the finish issue early. As for the nittos, my wife said the same thing. I don't know if they have gotten any quieter 1500 miles later...we have probably just acclimated.

Title in hand.
Try carvana and vroom to confirm. I have sold 2 vehicles in past 6 months, one to each and both were approx $1K higher than KBB PPV...easy transactions and they come to pick it up.

They are both hit or miss though...depending on you local demand. The virus has spiked value of the used car market. Hence why I bought a new x7 vs. cpo
