$93k for the 40i and $109k for the 50i...I guess I'm glad I didn't wait for it. A little confused how you pick 6 and 7 seating, luxury seating package? I do really like it as a BMW though, maybe I'll find enough money in the cushions by 2020 when it gets upgraded to 520hp!

Yeah, glad it's finally out. $94,300 configured the way I would want a 40i. YIKES!
Along with the configurator, The X7 page also has a little more information now. https://www.bmwusa.com/vehicles/x-mo...cle/index.html I too don't see mention of laser lights. |

I just built a 50i M-Sport to my spec and it came out to $105K. A comparable 2019 GLS550 built with the same/similiar options is $102K. So this is right in line IMO. Not to mention the MB is very dated with old architecture.

Just a reminder to anyone on the BMW forums. There is NO SUCH THING as a BMW with a V6. BMW only makes Inline 6 cylinders.
Not trying to be rude or anything, I just find it annoying when someone says a BMW has a V6. |

Pretty thin color palate, too. Are they bringing additional colors later?

Despite the interior resembling the X5 to the tee I think this has the most luxurious interior in its segment, especially when configured with Merino leather and the full leather dash/doors.

Usually I always favor the M-Sport version but the Luxury looks just as good if not even better depending on exterior color

Direct Quote. At this year's New York Auto Show, BMW AG Sales and Marketing Director Ian Robertson told British car site AutoExpress that the X7 SUV "won't arrive this year or next, but it's well through the development phases," adding "there's very little resemblance to the X5, so it's not an extended wheelbase X5. It's very different—we wanted it to have its own identity." |
