Heard alot of good comments on Reflect Effect at North Parramatta, however I haven't use them myself.

its called opticoat and reflect can do this for you. its a permanent coating like another layer of clearcoat on your car reflect effect can do it or any reputable detailer can do it for you or provide many other options.

check out detailparadise.com.au top blokes on that forum who will help you with whatever you need

heres mine with opticoat i applied myself after paint correction =P

Depends I guess. It's a good idea for brand new car owners who don't have much time or interest to look after the car. Also depends on what colour car it is - in this case white.

For me personally, I don't bother. I'd rather get it detailed every 2 years as it'll cutback all the marks and contaminants, bringing the shine back - especially with black cars as you are bound to see some marks from washing over the years.

There are some really great products out there these days, and whilst i don't believe in those 'for life' paint protection products, they are a lot more durable then conventional carnuba wax sealants and have a harder bond which also resists contaminants better also.

For a new car or even a well maintained car i would have no hesitation in using opticoat, nanolex, 22PLE etc

depends if your selln or buyn

to be fair they do offer 'some' benefit, but i'll keep my money in my pocket and every couple of months give the car a polish with something like this http://www.zainostore.com/Merchant2/...roduct_Count=7

Its the same thing as, is modifying your car a waste of time/money? it all depreciates in value anyway and by the time you sell your car most of you will try to put it back to stock. But it comes down to your hobby and how you want you car to look.

so true..personally i enjoy detailing, would rather maintain my car than paying someone detailing it professionally.

the mirror-like finish after a day of detailing - pure satisfaction!!

that said, Opti-coat/seal is a very populary product and highly recommended. I bought all my detailing production from Damian @ Final Inspection. You can order them online, worth checking it out:

Yeah, I totally agree. If you have the interest and enjoy detailing the car, then don't worry about paint protection. Having said that, with paint protection on, it does make it easier to wash the car as most contaminants come off easily(similar to putting a good wax).

Jevanh: After a good wash and wax, the shine always puts a smile on your face! Front lip looks good mate! Not a fan of the lids though.
