Random chime sound while driving
Hi all,
I picked up my 24 X7 a few weeks ago and recently it's been making a random chime sound while driving, with no error message displayed anywhere. The chime sound is low volume and almost sounds like it's coming from the radio station I listen to, but when I switch to SiriusXM it still happens. It seems like it does it the most when I'm making a turn on local streets, crossing an intersection, etc. but other times it does it randomly. Is there a way to turn that off? This one is going to be a hard dealer diagnose. I could try leaving my phone camera on while driving and filming it. Thank you! |

Does it only happen in low speeds? It could be the self-parking feature that makes a sound after it finds a spot for you, and expects you to confirm it. I believe there is a way to turn that off in the settings.

my wife's car (Subaru) does that when the lane keeping loses track of the center and/or side lines of the road. It's annoying AF.

Go through the whole menu and familiarize yourself with all of the settings.
I spent about 15 minutes doing this when I picked up my XB7 in Dec. There are lots of things you will want to set to your personal taste. |
