High mileage M5
Hello all, pretty sure I know the answer but not exactly sure. 2006 BMW M5 for sale for $16,000. 98,xxx miles. Worth the buy? I hear all about these care are the rod bearings and that kinda scares me. Been my dream car since I was young but not sure if I should bite the bullet. Any input helps, thanks!

If you love the car and all it offers, then buy it but you have to be prepared to be all in. BMWs, and especially Ms, are costly to own out of warranty. Your post makes it sound like you might sleep better owning another marque.

high pressure VANOS pump throttle actuators SMG. Read up on those and if that isn't enough to scare you off then good luck. They're awesome cars, but the possibility of spending five figures in parts alone all at once is a very real possibility. I wanted one too, but talked some sense into myself. cheers. |
