Euro Control Unit

I read on another post that this "Euro Control Unit" is what in fact turns off the yellow blinkers at night, making them only turn on when you put on the blinkers...could an expert chime in and explain this and see if it is in fact an easy DIY as i would like to do this or have this installed whatever it is...e90fleet?

i dont know because if that were the case, then people that bought the euro lights would have their lights off and only blink...e.g. longtran's post is a perfect example. I'm going on the assumption that there is software coding that has to take place.

that's why I'm working on.
Since I have euro spec car, i want to test the control unit to U.S model whether it works or not.

I will ask dealer about this. keep update on this.

I believe control units need to be programmed first, and the programming computer knows if your car is US or Euro spec.

Maybe if you swap a programmed one from a euro car

The dealer won't tell me what it does.

But, they said this control unit controls the light, but which light?
That's why question. It located under the dash board or footrest or something.

If you guys wanna try my control unit, I'm willing to send this to your door with free. If it works, pay me little money. What do you think?
