Looking at a 2019 X7 50i. Oil change intervals are around 11k from day 1. Would you stay clear or not a big deal? I thought twin turbos benefits from 5k intervals. Possible issues down the road? Currently @62k miles.

It’s honestly how it is driven that would determine if the OCI is too long. Short trips where the motor doesn’t get fully warm (water in oil) or racing the motor up the RPM range (oil shearing, more internal wear) would warrant more frequent changes. Cruising down the highway or driving 50 miles per day around as a shuttle driver for your kids is probably less of a concern.
