Fogs

Hello guys,

I am looking to change the globes in my fog lights to 7500k so they match the Angel Eyes.

The globes are 35w H8's.

Does anyone know where I can purchase locally?

I've found a couple of places overseas and one doesn't ship here and the other charges about $40 to ship.

Thanks in advance.

Be safe.

H

You know they're that colour for a reason, right?

Don't change them. You'll regret it if you find yourself driving in very heavy fog.

I do know why they are the way the are, thanks.

However, the chance of me driving in any fog at all, let alone a heavy fog, where I live and drive is negligible. The only times I have used the lights are for when it is raining.

To me they are purely aesthetic and I want the whiter colour rather than the yellow colour.

So, does anyone know where I can buy the globes locally?

Be safe.

I've used them (gone directly to the showroom and got a better price then advertised on ebay) Maybe ring them and see if you can get a better price? (Joe is the owner, he's a nice guy)

Fog lights are for lighting immediately in front of the car in foggy or poor visibility conditions. They don't necessarily need to be a specific colour, just light the way, hopefully without possible reflection from the poor weather (fog, snow sandstorm), so the driver can see the road & sides ahead at slow speeds.

I cannot see any specific colour requirement for fog lights on VicRoads' website.

No matter what colour fogs are fitted to a car, they are only legally allowed to be used during fog, snow, poor visibility, sandstorms etc. Lots of people switch their fogs on during good weather/visibility, which is illegal in Victoria.
