Can someone confirm....

Happened to look across the top of the windscreen tonight before putting the roof on, and noticed that at the right side there seems to be a sort of spring plate that gets pushed back when the hook from the roof connects with it, but the left side (UK passenger side) doesn't.

Can anyone confirm if there should be a spring plate at the passengers side - it looks a bit empty!

First photo below shows passenger side.
Second photo shows the drivers side.

It may just be a switch to tell the roof it's arrived and should move on to the next step.

Same here (Swiss version).

Spring plate is only on the right side (which is the passenger side for me).

Left side is empty.

Must be a switch of some kind like AndyE1976 has said.

the same for italian version.....under the sgring and finger there should be microswitch.....
