I appended that to my original comment, but you replied too quick. If it turns out good I'm totally doing it. Just waiting on you.

Orange FTW. The problem I have with blue, is that it's used in so many standard non-BMW M models. For example it's all over the F30 3er.

And orange is closer to red, which would have been my choice.
Seeing it in person, it doesn't look that close to red. And we also need to deal with the seat inserts. I was thinking orange, but I've changed my mind.

That’s a great angle for seeing the insert. Is there a similar one floating around of the seats in blue at that angle?

Orange stitching for sure for me, on HS, it's all about personal preferences.

Hock Silver with blue or defo orange if Sapphire Black...
I've had blue stitch for 2 years on current M2 so would actually like a change but just not feeling the orange and Hock Silver combo...think blue is the safer bet, orange carries possible regrets! Shame we can't physically see the cars in time before specs / orders have to be locked in.

I would go with orange with SO and blue with LBB but with HS I think either is fine.

IMO blue is more refined and orange is more sporty and stands out a little more. If it's the same thread as other models with orange stitching then it looks more red when it's on black leather and more orange on grey alcantara.

I feel that the blue would matching those flashing lights in the rear view mirror a little better.

Black and silver stitching is super boring. Live a little.

Orange for sure. The blue looks too much like WRX/STI seats.
