No, Germany also builds RHD, and most UK ones come from there

Seeing as the UK is so close to Germany, it would make sense to ship them all the way from here

I'm getting a Leipzig car in a few weeks - even though it's an ED pickup in Munich.

Yes, currently Leipzig only make E90.

They have said it may also start making 1 Series in the near future, just like Regensburg

I'm surprised that there are not more Regensburg built E90s, especially since they have been produced there since Feb. 2005

South Africa, I was a bit shocked when I found that out.

I didn't even know about the SA plant.

Largest single country market for all BMW products combined

Germany is just behind USA for all models combined, but if you add all of Europe they beat the USA substantially

USA isnt very big for 3 series, Germany sells about double per month last I heard. USA buys large amounts of Z4, X5 and 7 Series.

USA only Sells about 6 times the 3 Series per month than we do in here, and our whole country is less than twice the size of texas with far fewe economically active people, but USA sells something like 300 times the 7 Series we do
