Just curious about how the depreciation of the XB7 compares with the M50i. Anyone have any estimates?

Just for the info the 3y 12k/y miles lease residual on Alpina is 45% while M60 residual is 53%. Considering MSRP of both, Alpina would lose around $85k, while M60 around $60k.

I know market is very different now but it will eventually get back to what it used to be.

My personal experience, I have 2021 M50i that I got exactly 2y ago. $116k msrp, trade-in value as of this morning is $71k. 31k miles. So I'm down $45k on this car over 24 months.

Thanks for this perspective. I bought my '22 M50i about a year ago MSRP $112K (loaded except for the B&W). Was considering the XB7, but was concerned that 5 years out it might be close to the M50i in trade value (or best case close to a new M60i) so I went with the M50i (I'm not disappointed!).
