Hi all,

I picked up my 24 X7 a few weeks ago and recently it's been making a random chime sound while driving, with no error message displayed anywhere. The chime sound is low volume and almost sounds like it's coming from the radio station I listen to, but when I switch to SiriusXM it still happens. It seems like it does it the most when I'm making a turn on local streets, crossing an intersection, etc. but other times it does it randomly.

Is there a way to turn that off? This one is going to be a hard dealer diagnose. I could try leaving my phone camera on while driving and filming it.

Does it only happen in low speeds? It could be the self-parking feature that makes a sound after it finds a spot for you, and expects you to confirm it. I believe there is a way to turn that off in the settings.

my wife's car (Subaru) does that when the lane keeping loses track of the center and/or side lines of the road. It's annoying AF.

It's probably the speed limit warning. Turn it off in the settings.

Go through the whole menu and familiarize yourself with all of the settings.
I spent about 15 minutes doing this when I picked up my XB7 in Dec.
There are lots of things you will want to set to your personal taste.

Mystery solved! It was the "play sound when speed limit changes" feature. Turned it off and hasn't happened since.
