I am certain his wheel shop took them out of these wheels to install them on the new wheels that went on the car. Pretty standard process since the OEM BMW TPMS can run you up to $500+ with the valves and stems etc.

So begs the next question if shop took out TPMS. Did they re-balance the wheels?

Anyway, pretty good deal. Tip is on shipping is to use uship.com. I just got mine from a forum member here who lives in Texas. Guy on uship transported them from Dallas to Colorado Springs at a really great price.

I just had my new forged wheels put on with OEM TMPS from these that came with the car. I had the new ones mounted and balanced. These were not rebalanced after I took them off because I wasnt sure if I would sell the tires and wheels separately or not.

Thanks for the tip on shipping. Someone in Texas is actually interested and shipping is usually so expensive it becomes cost prohibitive.

How did you handle payment? I would probably want Venmo or Zelle.

You are 100% spot on.
I didn't want to get aftermarket tpms for my brand new car and also didn't want to get brand new oem ones at a premium when I could just use the ones I had.

Venmo, but I recommend buyers use the payment for goods option they have now. It will add a fee, but provides for some protection.

If the buyer is local then in-person meet up with a Venmo payment is good…or cash payment.

Good advice but if the seller is a scammer / fraud there are almost always tell tale signs of that ....just keep your eyes, ears and that spidey sense open
