Coding to limit the height suspension

I have X7 2020, I drove the car in desert and I need the suspension level to be raised, so when i raise it to heigh level, it turns back to normal level if I exceed 30KM.

I want to code it to 80KM, is there any way to do so and what coding option should be used?

Still not possible via coding. But yes, standard X7 operation is (with few specific exceptions) height that was lowered or raised returns to default middle height once the vehicle starts moving.

“Once it starts moving” = once it hits above 30mph or literally right away?

Once it hits 30mph from what I've experienced. The highest setting is further speed limited.

hah... I was really struggling for why you would want to do such a thing, and glazed over where you were driving. Had a good couple of sentences typed about the only time you should even be asking of such a heinous idea (that high at more than 30mph) would be if you were driving in a desert... Then I read your post again and met my ignorance!

Anyway, nothing within e-sys I could see that would allow it, I would imagine due to safety. If it is something you have to do on occasion, you should really be looking for an aftermarket solution that is going to provide proper support and stability as you get that high.

ESys will be able to achieve this once someone with the untrimmed codes dives in an sorts it out.

I know it's possible because people on the G12 forums are permanently raising/lowering their cars ride height using only Esys.

Also Alpina has coded the XB7 suspension system to allow for much, much lower settings for their Sport+ when compared to the M50i.

We need a fluent German speaker to dive deep into untrimmed CAFD files within Esys to uncover the settings.

I happen to be fluent in German, as in natively, and happy to translate, if you find the words you want translated.

I've yet to code my XB7 but when I do I'll give you a shout. Much appreciated.

Usually folks like the lower side of the spectrum.

Noticing you are in Dubai, wanting the raised makes total sense now

Yes, we need that for desert. last week I took my X7 to desert and was performing great, the drawback was the raise of the car.

I know we have used lowering links to cheat the computer and lower the cars.

I assume you could use the same but set in revers to raise the car a bit.
They are adjustable.
