Trying to find the brightness setting for Angel Eyes in my X7 M50 with laser lights. Angel Eye brightness is an option in BimmerCode for our X3M with LEDs. I don’t see it however when connected to the X7.

Do the LaserLights have the same reduced brightness as the LED? Am I misunderstanding something? Is the option buried in expert mode?

Is brightness adjustability only done through coding? Or is there an option somewhere in iDrive setting etc

No option in idrive for this unfortunately. Also no option that I've seen using BimmerCode. I notice that some YouTube videos show this feature on some older model bmw's but I've never heard of it being done on the X7. I thought I read someplace that the X7 is built with them at 100% brightness but I could be wrong.

This may also be possible through an alternate coding method other than the simple plug and play adapters through wifi. Other owners use an Ethernet cable hook up that I believe gives you access to more options. It was one of the first things I tried coding when I got my adapter but noticed it wasn't an option.
