Lease assumption, but delayed 1200 mile service

I'm looking at a lease assumption on a 2008 E92. The car has less than 8000 miles, but the 1200 mile service was not performed until 2600 miles. At 2600, all 3 fluids were changed (oil, diff and tranny), however. The SA says that as the car was lightly driven, the 1200 mile service was pushed out. What do you think? I could conceivably buy this car after assuming the lease (lease term is for 2 more years). Thx.

I'd say it's just fine, especially because it's a lease.

Don't most BMW's go to 15k for their first oil change (without any gear oil changes)?

I would think that 1,200 miles of city driving with frequent stops/starts would be harder on the engine than 2,600 easy miles. It's a guideline because everybody's 1,200 miles are going to be different.

It's fine.

Kind of funny you mention this, I took my car in for it's 1200 mi service today and my car's DME wasn;t even saying that I needed the service, it said I didn;t need anything until like 12K miles.
