No, but I'm hoping the upgraded performance brakes offered for the X5 also fit the X7.

The X5 in the picture, though, certainly has more leather than the currently available "extended" leather because even when you opt for extended, the lower dash is not covered in leather.

So, the image shows either something between "extended" and "full" which is unlikely or - what I believe but certainly not hope - the door pockets on the X5 will never be leather covered..
Unlike the X7, the full merino leather option on the X5 WILL NOT include leather on the lower door panels (door pocket area). This is something BMW will do to differentiate the X5 from the X7. The same thing applies to the full merino leather option on the 5 series (including the M5) and the 7 series i.e the lower door panels on the 5 series are not adorned in leather whereas on the 7 series they are.

That would be confirmed by the picture I posted.

*This is a release from BMW, not BMWNA, so don't know if/when it applies to USA.
Full merino leather will also be available on the X7 from the 2020 model year (after july 2019) in the following colors in addition to the currently available ivory white/night blue:

1.Ivory white/dolomiti
2.Black
3.Amarone brown/Black
4.Coffee

Yay! I'd be all about the full merino in black. Looks like another reason to wait for MY2020 for my order. Thanks for this info.

Hey, lookie at this article that I found, when doing a search for "BMW Dolomiti". Great pics of upcoming X7 interiors. And notice some new trims in there, including a herringbone hatched black wood with aluminum inserts. (I kinda like it. It's very different)

https://www.bmw-m.com/en/topics/maga...he-bmw-x7.html

That Amarone/Black (2nd to last seat pic below, reddish brown leather) is pretty kick ass. Looks kind of like Cordovan leather to me. Very classy.

I specced a fully loaded 50i a few weeks ago, and asked my dealer (with whom I have a reservation deposit in) to send me a quote through the BMW website. They never did, but they did order the car as specced by me, and it’s coming in this Thursday... Looks like the production is moving along...

Too bad I changed my mind regarding a couple options, so will have to place a proper order again...

Hoping someone can provide updated X7 pricing and ordering guides, now that it's April 2019. New options coming out.

New colors (jet black, dark graphite, phytonic blue), sensatec upholstery, Brown-Metallic Ash Grain wood trim, and the nightvision standalone option are already on the current ordering guide on page one labeled as “SOP 4/19”. I don’t think they will update it unless laser lights makes a miraculous supply comeback before the end of the 2019 model run. From my understanding, any more additional colors, trim, upholstery, additional full leather color options, etc, will not happen until MY2020 and will show up when that order guide becomes available not until July most likely.

True on the SOP 4/19 listings. Small thing, but Ambient Air Package is still not listed, although a hidden available option. Hoping they'll just put out updated guides.

Had a CA tell me yesterday that the laser lights were removed because they were illegal in the US - complete BS. She made it seem like they won't be coming back. I hope that's not true. It's a bummer you can still get them on the X5, but don't even have the option on the X7 anymore. Do they have different housing assemblies?

The usual "don't wait, buy NOW, NOW, NOW.."-argument often used to get you into a sale...

What's the difference between Extended and Full leather? I just cancelled my 2019 order and will wait for 2020, and I saw that Tartufo will be available in Full.

Full also covers the lower door pockets and the lower dash area.

If you look at the pictures of the trims that are posted above, you can see a stitched seam below the trims. Extended leather does not cover that area and therefore, no stitching.

The extended option covers the small part at the center console, right above the carpeted area. If you look closely at the pictures of the seats, you can see that there are two stitched seams on the center console. The one on top is standard, the one below comes with the extended and full leather option.

The full leather option will have a better value on the X7 than on the X5 because the "full" leather on the X5 is probably not going to include the lower door sections.

Cool. Thanks. It would be nice for us, but the kids will most likely kick the doors all the time.

Hello all,

Looking at leasing an in stock unit, msrp of $106,625. I am looking at a 36 month lease 15,000 miles/year. 6.25% MA sales tax, payment quotes at $1499/month. I believe it was $3500 down, just waiting to hear back to verify that number. Is this a good deal? Seems high to me for what the msrp is, but i understand it's a new model and the discounts are pretty low. What do you think?

On the spot, I'd say that's a bit on the high end. Especially with $3,500 down.

Ask the dealer how much discount they are giving you ($$ off MSRP).

They said it was $700 over invoice then throw the $1499 without giving details. I have asked what all the numbers are to see where they inflated things but haven't heard back yet. They started at $1699 then went to $1499 but still seems too high. Calling another dealer to see what the comps are, the one we are looking at seems pretty common...Artic w/lux package, ivory and blue interior.

$700 over invoice is crazy IMO, of course I can't speak to your market. I received $5,000 off MSRP and they gave me $3,000 over average trade-in value for our Mercedes. In total we got $8,000 off MSRP.

$700 over invoice would be great but I can def. tell that with $3,500 down, the monthly payment would have to be much lower than that.

Something's off...
