It is interesting to see the range of experience on different remedies.
Moth balls have worked for me, especially near the mouse entrances to the house. Ultrasonic did nothing for my little buggers. peppermints also did nothing. I’ve used TomCat bait and found hoards of it stashed away in the mouse nests after I caught them in glue traps. I don’t know if they didn’t eat the bait or it didn’t work. A good mouser cat seems to be the best in winter, and snakes in summer, but those are escalations I don’t really want to deal with (found a dead milk snake baby in a glue trap the other day - must have chased a mouse into the house!) |
