^Get Tidal. It offers full lossless streaming, with CD quality sound (1411 kbps), and some of their albums are available in full master-quality. Apple music is 256. Spotify can do 320, if you set quality to "Extreme" in settings. Bus nothing else compares to Tidal right now...

Wow! My dealer just texted me that my M50i is here! Pretty unbelievable, given I ordered on 9/16, so basically three weeks ago...

Pretty much fully loaded, so doesn't seem like there any options related delays

Meanwhile the BMW tracker still says "Dispatched from factory"...

Ordered mine the day after. Still scheduled for production at the end of the month.

Lesson learned. Always ask about allocations.....

My M50i is now at 5 weeks and still scheduled for production. Genius now says it has been pushed back to the first week of November. This will put me at over 8 weeks from order until delivery. What is going on??? Should I contact another dealer? What really makes me mad is the dealer told me it was being built just one week after I ordered it only to find out later from Genius they were lying about it being built. Ordered 9/17. Went to scheduled for production on 10/3.

All it does is remove the vehicle associated with that production number from your online BMW account. Like if you accidentally entered the wrong production number. It wouldn't actually cancel the order or anything.

The alcantara headliner in upholstery color, is on back order and will push back my order to spring. We are deleting that option (not what we wanted), to expedite the build.

Hi everyone. Long time lurker. I ordered a '20 M50i in August. Didn't go into production until late Sep/Early Oct. Sat there as "Production begins" for about three weeks, then went paint booth - assembly line - dispatch all in the past week. At the port today. Long saga, good luck to all.

Any individual option will push production now to January. I had to remove full merino and individual trim on my X7M50i.

Frustrated. I had better updates ordering my gt3. Not only are we not getting the car we want, for a 100k+ plus vehicle, but they can’t tell me how delayed it is.

An update on my M50i timeline.

9/17 order received.
10/3 scheduled for production
10/29 production begins......finally.....

Anxious to see how long it stays there. 6 weeks from order received to production begins.

That's awesome! Mine was ordered on 10/12/19 and it just left the factory. It's not expected to get to my dealer's showroom until around the end of the month.

I hate these sales people who lie and tell you how quickly you'll get your vehicle. Mine told me if it was ordered in early to mid October it would be delivered around the first week of November.

Once I was at the dealership and just before placing the order and giving him my deposit I asked him again. Specifically, I said: "So, realistically, how long does it really take before I'll be able to take delivery?" He again, stated it should be here by the first week of November. As soon as it went into production (which was the very next day) I asked him how long it would be before delivery and he said not until the end of November.

They should never make those kind of claims knowing damn well that it's not a realistic time frame. Sounds like you got lucky though and it actually only took your BMW 3 weeks from build to delivery.

I've done a lot of sales in my day and I always told people a time from with best and worst cases. Lying to get your business is the worst thing sales people can do.

I've considered cancelling the order but don't want to lose my 1K deposit. If they ask for a customer review, rest assured, I will be commenting on his misleading sales pitch.

This right here is why I can't stand car salesmen and have never met one that didn't turn out to be a liar. I thought the salesman that sold mine was a decent guy. But after telling me a few days after I ordered (on 9/17) that the car was started being built and even gave me details like the doors are expected to be installed that Friday and would have a VIN number the next Monday. After calling BMW and calling out his BS he's backed down from the lies. VIN number just finally got assigned yesterday 5 weeks after he said it was already being built.

When I ordered I got the whole "yeah it should only take 4 weeks but we still have to quote 6-8 weeks" spiel. My money is that it actually goes over 8 weeks since it didn't enter the production queue until 6 weeks.

Ordered X7 M50i on 10/23 went in production today and got the VIN. Adding individual options have always been a pain with BMW with 2-3 months wait time. I had to remove full merino and individual trim otherwise it was pushed for Jan production . Now the wait begins..

X7 40i ordered 8/11, picking it up tomorrow!

There were delays based on missing parts, including, I'm told, the individual leather dash. I was scheduled for production back on 9/9, but that was pushed to 10/14.

Good for all of you located in the US. I ordered my 40i in June 2019 with estimated delivery in December 2019 and my dealer informed me on Monday that production would be delayed until February 2020 with delivery in April 2020. I will most likely cancel the order and look for other options.

That's quite frustrating. I'm surprised it will take that long.

I was able to extract some concessions based on my much shorter delay. You may want to consider doing the same.

Just got our 40i. 17 days from order to driveway. We are in southern Florida. We’ve had 28 BMWs. My E70 x5 set a record in 2013, 9 days order to driveway.
