Look at page 1 of this thread, post #21. I took tons of pics, but I didn't want to bore you all to death!

Here are some more of the Great-Ocean-Road, just for you:

Took these up at my holiday place in the Whitsunday's.

If you get up north to QLD its a beautiful place to check out with the reef etc, beats the weather in Sydney today!

Not quite your backyard, isn't it? Australia is huge!

I chickened out on that harbour bridge climb, the treetop-walk 20 meters above ground in Lamington was already enough for me!

i have taken friends of mine from overseas who have been scared of heights, and they loved it... i have done it twice now and loved it... it really doesn't feel that tall when you are up there, and nor does the bridge feel like it is moving...

if you ever come back, you should do it for sure!

Of course we went all the way up to O'Reilly's.

Would have been a walk in the park and much more fun with the E91!

I didn't realise we were so close to you, we would have popped in for sure! But we didn't have too much time on our hands anyway.

Next time I would love to join an Australian E90post-meet somewhere, totally diggin' those barbies' you guys have!
Hi Dante,

Sorry for the delayed reply. I welcomed a new granddaughter into the family.
The road used to be much tighter in spots and had more of those nice 180 tight one lane bends - just lovely on a motorbike (until you fall off did I do that?) or in a car with good road adhesion (as different to your renta corolla ). I've been driving to and camping/bushwalking at O'Reillys for about 25years. There also used to be a tree "in the left lane" of the one lane road that used to claim about 1 car's side mirror or rear guard a month. I used to live up on Beechmont which is the next range over and LOVE driving those roads.

Glad you loved our country and saw plenty of it!:rocks:

Cheers
