Intermittent Fault Code
2013 F30 335i, stock with 98K
I've been getting an intermittent amber Engine symbol for a month or so. Absolutely no rhyme or reason as to when or what driving conditions will cause it to illuminate or go out. May last 10 minutes or a couple of days before clearing itself. No alerts on the iDrive. No change in performance, gas mileage or drive-ability. BT shows a single fault code of "11801, Mixture Control: Mixture too lean". That is all the information that is displayed. I cant find any information on this fault code. Does anyone have any insight or thoughts on possible cause(s)? I hate taking to the dealer Svc Dept so they can go on a fishing expedition with the hours cranking by. Thanks |

Some stats on your car would help, what mods, auto or manual ect.
If you are using JB4, its been a known issue to go lean on fuel delivery just FYI.
