55 version fixed it for me. 53 didn't do anything in my case.

.55 has been out longer than a week. I'd ask them why they didn't go to .55. I had mine updated last week to .55 as well.

I also had .55 installed 10 days ago. Seems odd your shop wouldn't have the latest version.

Are you using Waze to determine your actual speed? If not, how are you determining that your speed is off by 5 mph?

Sorry to hear you're still having an issue with the speedometer. I noticed the same issue at times while using Waze but it didn't happen all the time even in the same day. Since the update to iDrive it's been spot on for me.

I have iDrive version 07/2019.53 which was installed 2 weeks ago. I understand the most up to date version id 07/2019.55 so I am curious as to why I did not receive that update. Also when I looked on the update screen you could click on "check for updates" Does this actually work or is it a tease? Also does anyone know what the difference is between 07/2019.53 and 07/2019.55?

Another question. Does the map program automatically update or do you have to purchase and install an update? I noticed that there are a lot of streets that are not on the map. Disappointing since my 2018 Honda Odyssey's map program does show these streets!!

Regarding CarPlay connectivity....iOS 13 has finally solved my frustrating intermittent connection problems and while I want to update iDrive from my version that’s 6 months old I’m concerned that it will break whatever iOS 13 just fixed. Thoughts? |
