That is just awful. I mean seriously how does a design team get away with that? It's the very definition of the Emperor and his lack of clothes. Let's hope BMW doesn't do a Bentley and release a butt-ugly concept, then change it to a different but still butt-ugly production car.

OK I did actually spoke to a local dealer and they are losing a lot of business to other brands because of not having the third row seating here in the U.S.

So BMW wants to get into that segment, so be it. I myself would never purchase such a gas guzzling behemoth, but an X4M absolutely! But to compete with the Chevy Tahoe, Chevy Suburban, Cadillac Escalade, Volvo XC90, I guess so.

The grills are huge and ugly, but They serve a purpose to flow air to the bigger engine, but I would have disguised them better and not offer it in a bilgy plastic chrome. And the chrome hockey stick side skirts are horrendous!

BMW don't imitate, innovate.

Now this is an incredibly sleek design, well done Range Rover!

Actually this design is quite stunning the more I look at it and what a modern SUV should look like. I would totally rock this if I needed something this large and if it was well engineered and reliable.

What's with the really thin corona eyes? I mean, they used to be round on BMWs but now it's like the designers want to almost eliminate them...

Parts of the interior look interesting but that's about it.

Wow I usually like BMW Concepts but there is absolutely nothing about the exterior that I like. Nothing!

This has to be the ugliest Concept that I have ever seen from BMW. And I had high hopes for this car because of the size. BMW Please fix this!

I think BMW 's trying to sell more 3 series 3GT cars by using this car to make the 3GT look less ugly.
Didn't think they could out ugly the 3GT buy BMW has done it.

I like the new x1, x3 5 and the concepts. but this!!!!

wtf that has to be the ugliest shape for the kidney grille i have ever seen. bmw needs to take the designer who came up with it and the blind team that approved it out back and shoot them by anti-aircraft gun and then feed the remains to dogs.

this coming from a current x5 m sport owner who was eagerly waiting for this car.

looks like its gonna be a range or the new cayenne or tesla x for me next...
