So if the car has an MSRP of $100,000 you can only put down the maximum of $20,000 and have to finance $80,000 (not taking into account any taxes, fees, etc in example). After you receive your first bill, you can pay off any principal balance but need to leave at least $10,000 of a balance for 3 months. And then you can pay it off anytime thereafter. This is what is needed to qualify for the $750 loyalty credit. Does anyone have further experience with this as I never heard of this rule before. Thanks.
I believe the dealer doesn't receive their kickback unless certain criteria are met (I know of the 3 months part, hadn't heard of the 80/20 thing). So if you pay off the full amount or refinance within the first 3 months, the dealer won't receive their kickback from BMWFS.

My guess is these rules don't apply to you as the consumer, but the dealer is trying to enforce them so that they get their share.

Solid rate at considering what local credit unions are offering.

Do miss 1.9 for 72 though

3%

1.5% off and another 1500 in loyalty on a 23 x7 40i custom order.

4.5% MF on a 36 month 12k lease, 51% residual.

payment would have been astronomical had I not turned in my other lease early and made out well in that exchange.

The KBB says my 21 w/24K miles is worth $75K at the midpoint for a private party sale. That car had a $94K MSRP.

Highly doubt NKOLE is speaking the truth, I called around 10 on the East Coast and only a few of the 10 are offering MSRP, no discounts

No but would be interested in knowing which dealer in the Bay Area. 8% off MSRP sounds like a unicorn deal.

I got essentially 5% off being on the East Coast. 8% isnt that far fetched and also a totally different market. 8% is the most I've seen though, sweet deal!

You can always confirm the base rate by starting a finance app (you don't actually submit)

You will see the rate for 60.

One-Pay lease feedback for 1st time BMW owner?

Pending, first time BMW buyer. First time forum poster. Seeking feedback on one-pay vs. outright purchase. One thought pre-pay the 3 yr/15 k lease, see if I like the X7, then buy a new one in year 4. Or, the other, just buy now with extended warranty and prepaid maintenance and trust everything I've ever read that I will absolutely love BMW and this X7? MSRP on my X740i is $85,095 gross (add in 3rd party warranty + Ultimate Care + taxes more like $101k), no financing though. The one-pay is $57,000 + $700 Ultimate Care. Delivery is for early December.

I really wanted to know if anyone has had a positive (or particularly negative) experience w/ a pre-paid or 'one-pay' lease or how many '1st time BMW' owners, bought and loved it right away? Thanks for sharing some feedback.

You're not comparing apples to apples when you're comparing the one-pay lease to the vehicle. Anyways to answer your question, assuming MSRP with zero discounts:

PURCHASE
$85k MSRP
$700 UC Upgrade to include brakes in the first 3Y/36k
Taxes + Doc fees = ???
I am assuming you'll be around $91k-93k with everything OTD.

vs

ONE-PAY LEASE
$57k one pay
$700 UC
~$58K OTD.

Do you think your X7 will be worth less than $35K ($93k - $58K) in 3 years? I really doubt the value will drop under $40K, so I would purchase it and reevaluate adding a warranty, etc over the course of your ownership.

Speaking of warranty/UC: Maintenance (Ultimate Care) + BMW Platinum Warranty both for 6Y/100k miles should cost you about $10k (combined). That's a lot of money.
