I ordered the 3D Kagu Maxpider mats. Just need the trunk mat now

Maybe I can negotiate a trunk mat from BMW
We were able to negotiate the dealer including the entire rubber all-weather set including the rear cargo mat. Shouldn't be an issue at this price point.

I just bought the 3D Kagu mats for another car and just installed them today and am very happy so I’m probably going to get a set for my X7 as the OEM mats aren’t very good IMO.

Do you know if this will fit the 2022. I had read somewhere that these don't work on the 19-22 Bc the cutouts in the doors are too small to accommodate and the only way is to make the hole bigger.

I have the Kagu ones and they are great. I have not bought bmw rubber mats for at least the last 5 cars. There are a lot of 3rd party option for less and better quality.

We bought tuxmats for our 2023 and they fit perfectly! So I assume any 2019-2022 mats would work

the kagu mats are great. especially the cargo mat, it has an articulation in it that lets it work with the 3rd row up or down, without the mat sticking in the air when the 3rd row is up.

weathertech imho has gone down in quality. bmw oem is overpriced.

Where did you find the mats? Looking for tan color mats, but their website doesn't list non-black color at all

All weather door mats - 100%
Sun screen - yes - but to be honest the BMW one is a bad design
Puddle light - don’t get me started! I bought these but fitting them is “difficult” I gave up and returned them - unless you have them fitted by the factory I am not sure I would do… the side carpet lights are fantastic though
I also got the cargo box for the rear to keep random stuff in - although there are much more cost effective ways to get the same result
And a BMW license plate frame as the dealer ones are always a bit cheaply made.
Also usb c cables for the kids in the back

Silverstone Sensafin backs and cargo color?

My interior is Silverstone Sensafin... Is the back of the 3rd row and the cargo area black? Want to order the best color for my Kagu's rear mats.

not sure about cutting, but from what i read its just trimming a corner on the door card, nothing major. i talked to the guys at getbmwparts and those are whats listed as fitting my 2023 X7

checking the parts listing for prior years, the only cars that got dark brown carpeting is the canberra beige.

even ivory white got black rear carpet.

And Puddle lamps? Are there puddle lamps in the back doors too?

The back doors on the pre-LCI X7 had the puddle lamps removed somewhere around '21 or so. Not sure if they brought them back on the '23. Someone who has the '23 will have to check, you can see if on the bottom of the door.

I took off all the door panels on my '22 recently. The rear doors did not have wiring for the puddle lights. You could splice into another wire, but then the puddle light would remain turned on even with the door closed while driving (not really a big issue). If you look at the bottom of the doors, the rear door panel on the '22 still had some sort of molding in the area where the light would go, but it was covered in leather - so retrofit would require cutting into the leather. I think the inside of the door panel did still have the correct mounting point for the light molded into it, not 100% sure.

My point with that previous paragraph is, if the '23 doesn't have puddle lamps in the rear doors, a retrofit is technically possible but probably not worth it for the little benefit you get (unless you *really* want door projectors on the rear). The carpet lights are adequate for providing illumination.
