I ordered the leather cover as this is the only option available at the moment. In Europe there are two more options (see picture).

The brownish leather was for old key design if I recall correctly.

the 7 seat set definitely fits- i ordered it from amazon for the 2022 and it fits perfectly. cargo mat fits perfect as well

one thing i will note, when you run the wire for the dashcam, if you go up the A pillar, do it by the windshield, not by the door opening. the airbag deploys from the door edge and you do not want the cable or the dash cam propelled through the cabin if the side airbag deploys.
removing the a pillar trim is easy, one T20 screw hiding behind the airbag plastic plug on the upper end and the trim comes right out. at the base its held in with some notches in the dash, and there are some push clips along the A pillar.
in the pic below, green area is good (i taped the two wires to that existing bundle with tesa harness tape) red is where the airbag deploys from, you can see the steel shield that guides it and directs it.

Does this look like a good product? I have no idea how these things work…

It's not a bad product. Specs are good, and backed by Costco warranty/support, why not?

However, I would consider something else with a second camera for the rear.

Its my personal opinion - the vehicle already has X7 plating on the rear. Why do we need license plate frame also to say X7. Just a thought..

Are there any alternatives to buying BMW Travel and Comfort System Universal Holder ($158) for Tablets AND BMW Travel and Comfort System Base Support ($30) to installing the tablets. I don't want to spend $188 for each kid. It's almost half the price of a tablet

The M5 has ///M5 which they don't sell anymore, Roadster plate finally back on a Z, had to order a new //M one for the M4. Actually wasn't there a generic X plate at one time. Prefer the genuine frames so I pickup whatever matches, they hold up better than amazon junk. The dealer frame gets removed as soon as I bring the car home.

I do not like the new style key chains, old one was hinged right at part that was on ring so it bent, new one isn't, found out when wife bought me the Z4 keychain.

the 2nd and 3rd row floor is whats different i believe

i dont think you need the base support, we already have the sockets in the back of the seat.

you can get the universal holder for 130ish from the usual sources if they have stock
